Procuring their moniker from the last name LYNES spelled backwards, The Senyl Brothers consist of Alan and Kenny Lynes, and are not brothers at all, but father and son. Alan has been an active musician and singer in the Charleston music scene for over 30 years, playing in bands and acoustic acts. Kenny is a multi-instrumentalist, notorious for being a hard-hitting drummer and vocalist in various bands in the area over the last decade.
Together, they are an acoustic duo, playing and singing a wide variety of funky and acoustic renditions of mostly rock covers, and they pride themselves by playing favorites that aren’t usually covered by common acoustic acts. Songs ranging from artists like The Beatles, Bill Weathers and the Commodores, to Men at Work, Peter Gabriel and Sheryl Crow, to The Fixx, Incubus and Fuel.
